Welcome! I am very excited to start the year 2011 with so many new opportunities ahead for The Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center to serve you. We are constantly enhancing the services we offer you because we want to be your primary medical home.
We are proud to be in our new medical home, The Kaplan Family Pavilion, located at 147 Lake St. in Newburgh. This state-of-the-art facility triples the capacity of our previous location. More exam rooms and more staff mean better service for you and less time spent at the doctor’s office. Soon we will be even more efficient, when we implement our Electronic Health Records system and make patient information instantly available throughout all departments.
At our Health Center you will find complete comprehensive primary care, including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Dental, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Infectious Disease Treatment, Behavioral Health, Laboratory and Pharmacy services, all in a space designed for comfort and dignity. Plus, new parents can take advantage of our WIC Program, also located here at 147 Lake Street. If you need help with alcohol or substance abuse issues, our Chemical Dependency Treatment Center is located just a few blocks away.
We make affordable health care accessible to you and your entire community, since we accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, Child Health Plus and Family Health Plus. We reaffirm our mission to provide care for those who have difficulty accessing or affording health care. At the same time, we want to be the practice of choice for all people. We have been growing, and we will continue to do so. We are proud and grateful to have received a 1.58 million dollar federal grant to build out a brand-new Dental Center within our facility, which will open this summer. We are also finalizing plans to open two new sites to broaden our area of service and bring comprehensive care to more communities in Orange County.
We accomplished much in the past year, and we look forward to the challenge of doing much more in the next. We invite you to come see everything we have to offer you, and make us your family’s medical home.
