Saturday, May 18, 2013 7 p.m. to Midnight, Anthony’s Pier 9, New Windsor, NY The caring employees and friends of GHVFHC host an Annual Baile Latino Dinner Dance. Our Dinner Dance fundraiser has the distinction of being an elegant, relaxed and fun event that celebrates the Latino culture. Our guests enjoy a social hour followed by a delicious buffet dinner; and of course dancing, dancing, dancing! Cosmos and Cupcakes for Causes Tuesday, June 4, 2013 5:30 to 9 p.m., Anthony’s Pier 9, New Windsor, NY The Second Annual "sweet" event to benefit three great charities; GHVFHC, The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation, and The Littman Cancer Center at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. Expect to see Cupcake War contestants crowned, enjoy appetizers and dessert, along with a fantastic program. Journal opportunities, silent auction, and cupcake sales also are included. The Pillars of the Community Awards Gala Saturday, November 2, 2013 6 to 11:30 p.m., Anthony’s Pier 9, New Windsor, NY This signature community event is held on the first Saturday in November and draws up to 500 guests each year. It has been acknowledged as "The Fall Event of the Region" by Barbara Bedell, THR. The gala is an excellent venue for our donor friends and corporate sponsors to display their support. Gifts are acknowledged in the dinner program and donor listings.

Annual FundYour Annual Fund gift helps GHVFHC by providing unrestricted funds that may be used whenever and wherever there is a need in our organization. Building Tours & Open HousesFrom February through November, on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:15 p.m., friends, supporters and volunteers are welcomed to an open house at the Kaplan Family Pavilion. Led by Director of Development, Regina McGrade, guests tour our Health Center, meet our staff, and learn about the service provided. A round table discussion follows in the Charlie and Peggy Milich Medical Administration Conference Room giving everyone an opportunity to ask questions and engage in healthcare solution dialogue, share ideas and resources. Light refreshments are served. We end promptly at 6:30 p.m. The 2013 Tour Schedule is as follows; February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, August 14, September 11, October 9 and November 13. Matching GiftsYour contributions can have an even greater impact through an employee matching gift program. Many corporations sponsor matching gift programs through which they will match the charitable financial commitments of their employees. If your employer has a matching gift program, obtain a matching gift application form from your human resources or personnel department. Many corporations also have this form available for downloading on their website. Fill out the matching gift application form and send it to: The Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center, Inc. Your employer will send the matching gift to GHVFHC, sometimes doubling or tripling the amount of your contribution!
Major GiftsMany individuals seek creative and meaningful ways to show public support of GHVFHC; honor a family name, or memorialize a loved one. Gifts of all sizes may be unrestricted or designated for a special project to help GHVFHC deliver the highest standards of patient care by creating new initiatives, upgrading current programs, or renovating and expanding our facilities. We are always available to discuss the appropriate opportunity for your gift and will help to identify opportunities that meet your particular needs and interests.
Expansion CampaignWe ask that you take a leading role in building our region’s economic health and well being and become an investor in a solution to our health care crises. Our new center offers a meaningful and lasting way to recognize donors. Named gifts can pay tribute to or memorialize a family, a mentor, friend or business. They tighten the bonds of the community and transform a material building into a place of personal significance. At this time, we are engaged in the construction of two new sites; 127 Main Street in Highland Falls and 290 Broadway in Newburgh.
